I recently completed a dissertation for an MBA and just needed to get away to a quiet place to finish it as I was on a deadline. I went to Tawnylust Lodge for two weeks. I did more work in that two weeks than I had managed to do at home for the previous three months. Not alone is it quiet and peaceful there but extremely comfortable, warm and clean. I highly recommend Tawnylust Lodge to any student or aspiring writer. The owner, Nuala Mc Nulty couldn't be more helpful and was very understanding of my need for quietness. It is a truly remarkable place with a beautiful rolling green landscape to greet you each morning. Well done Nuala for creating such a wonder space, I'll be back and soon! PS. I graduated so all the hard work paid off.

We spent a very relaxing long weekend in Tawnylust with our two young children. Nuala could not have been more accommodating or helpful. The apartment had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. The rural setting is very peaceful and the view from the living room extremely calming. Our two-year-old loved tramping in the fields and watching the sheep and cows, and especially going to the neighbouring farm to see the pet lambs. A beautiful part of the country and lovely accommodation.

I spent many glorious weeks in residence at Tawnylust Lodge. This was my first time in the North West and I found the perfect place to call "home" while I discovered the land and people of this very interesting part of Ireland. As a writer and artist I found the apartment to be a perfect place for contemplating the landscape and it served as a wonderful retreat. Great walking in the townland and many events in nearby areas. Nuala's knowledge of the area and her friendly and enthusiastic help ensured that my stay was all I hoped for -and more! I highly recommend Tawnylust Lodge for a long weekend getaway or a longer retreat stay.
