TAWNYLUST
LODGE
Guests wishing to explore the local area can join a ‘Leitrim Landscapes’ walk. This is organised in conjunction with Tawnylust Lodge and offers guided archaeology, nature, mushroom/foraging and hill walks using a local guide who can tailor the walk to suit guest needs.

Located 15km from the lodge is the Organic Centre at Rossinver, this is one of Ireland''s oldest and well known organic training centers where there are a shop and restaurant well worth a visit. The Sculpture Centre at Manorhamilton offers various courses from stone carving to bronze casting and is 6km away.

Guests can take part in local events such as a visit to the nearby ''Glens Centre’, which is a small theatre offering Irish drama and music as well as mainstream concerts. We also boast a mobile cinema, which comes weekly, so no need to drive to an urban location; it comes to you, only in Leitrim! A visit to a rural pub is a must when staying in this area, Sunday nights, catch a traditional music session in the Castle Pub, Manorhamilton
